  • July 1946: The communist of the 359th Brigade reached Jingzi Pass (Jingzi Guang, 荆紫关).
  • July 1946: On July 13, 1946, the communist 359th Brigade launched an offensive to take Xichuan (淅川), and Madeng Pu (马蹬辅).
