Was a revolt in the Klaipėda region that had been placed under provisional French administration after World War I. After the revolt the territory was unified with Lithuania.

February 1923: Faced with the fait accompli, the League of Nations had to resolve to accept the transfer of the Memel Territory to Lithuania as an autonomous region.
January 1923: January 10-15, 1923: The Klaipėda Revolt took place from January 10-15, 1923 in the Klaipėda region, then under a League of Nations mandate since 1919. Separated from East Prussia during the Treaty of Versailles in 1919, the territory had then been provisionally entrusted to the French administration. Lithuania, on the other hand, requested the attachment of Klaipėda to its own territory.
