  • February 1923: Faced with the fait accompli, the League of Nations had to resolve to accept the transfer of the Memel Territory to Lithuania as an autonomous region.
  • January 1923: January 10-15, 1923: The Klaipėda Revolt took place from January 10-15, 1923 in the Klaipėda region, then under a League of Nations mandate since 1919. Lithuania, on the other hand, requested the attachment of Klaipėda to its own territory.
