Is a conflict in the Southern Cameroons region of Cameroon, part of the long-standing Anglophone problem. In September 2017, separatists in the Anglophone territories of Northwest Region and Southwest Region (collectively known as Southern Cameroons) declared the independence of Ambazonia and began fighting against the Government of Cameroon.

December 2023: On December 5, Ambazonian separatists reportedly took control of the Belegete community inside Nigeria (in Obanliku),
March 2018: In 2018, Ambazonian militias gradually took control of some rural and urban periphery areas.
May 2018: The Cameroonian Army retook Belo from the separatists.
July 2020: Cameroon pushed the separatists out of Buea.
December 2017: Cameroonian forces retook the village of Bodam from the Ambazonian rebels.
December 2017: Cameroonian forces retook the village of Mamfe from the Ambazonian rebels.
July 2018: Since July 2018, the city of Buea is besieged by the Ambazonia Defence Forces.
April 2018: On April 25, following a battle, separatists forced the Cameroonian Army to retreat from the town of Belo.
December 2023: The rebels later retreated from Belegete on their own
October 2017: Anglophone separatists unilaterally declared the independence of Ambazonia from Cameroon.
December 2017: Cameroonian forces retook the villages of Bafia and Muyenge from the Ambazonian rebels.
