  • January 1906: In 1905, the entire Island of Sulawesi became part of the Dutch East Indies.
  • January 1906: The Kingdom of Luwu was absorbed by the Dutch East Indies.

  • 1. Third Bone War


    Was a Dutch military expedition against the Kingdom of Bone in South Sulawesi (Indonesia).

  • July 1905: The Dutch came ashore at Ujung Pattiro, at an estuary of the Cenrana River.
  • July 1905: Bajoe was the centre of Bone resistance, but it fell to a superior force.
  • July 1905: The state of Bone was completely occupied.
  • December 1905: After the death of his son, La Pawawoi offered terms to the Dutch. He was apprehended and exiled to Bandung on 14 December.

  • 2. Campaign against Gowa


    Was a Dutch military expedition against the Sultanate of Gowa in South Sulawesi (Indonesia).

  • December 1905: The Dutch besieged the fortress of Alitta, killing all the Gowan soldiers inside.
  • January 1906: Gowa and Bone were annexed to the Government of Sulawesi (Dutch East Indies).
