  • January 1606: Zebrzydowski's Rebellion was a rebellion that started in 1606 in the Republic of the Two Nations with the aim of deposing Sigismund III of Poland. The rebellion was led by the Polish aristocracy, and ended in 1609, when the uprising nobles surrendered.
