January 1766: In 1765 Ajaigarh State was separated from Jaitpur.

January 1766: Ajaigarh State was one of the princely states of India during the period of the British Raj. The state was founded in 1785 and its capital was located in Ajaigarh, Madhya Pradesh.

1. Partition of India

Was the partition of British India in two independent entities: India (with a Hindu majority) and Pakistan (with a Muslim majority). This included the several princely states that were dependent on the British Colony.

August 1947: British seizuranity over the Ajaigarh State ended.

January 1950: Ajaigarh State acceded to the Government of India on 1 January 1950.
