Was an Islamic precolonial state in the center and northwest of the present Central African Republic.

Establishment


  • January 1831: Dar al Kuti was an Islamic state founded by the Fulani people in the 1830s in the central and northwest regions of the present-day Central African Republic. Led by the ruler Muhammad al-Amin al-Kanemi, the state was known for its strong Islamic influence and trade networks.
