Is the largest country in South America and in Latin America, and also the largest lusopohone country of the world. It succeded the first Brazilian Republic in 1930.

Establishment

January 1967: In the new Constitution of 1967 the name of the country was changed from Republic of the United States of Brazil to Federative Republic of Brazil.
