Was one of the kingdoms in the Gibe region of Ethiopia that emerged in the 19th century. It became a vassal of the Ethiopian Empire in 1890.

Establishment


  • January 1791: In 1790, the territory in the Gibe region of Ethiopia was taken over by the Kingdom of Jimma. This kingdom was founded by Abba Jifar I, who established his rule in the area and expanded his influence throughout the region in the 19th century.
