Was a Kurdish emirate centered around the city of Hakkâri, and to the west of Lake Urmia on the border with Iran.

Establishment

January 1381: The Emirate of Hakkari was founded in the mid-14th century by Emir Izz ad-Din Shir/Yazdan-Shir.
