1. Events
January 1395: The Kingdom of Bamum, founded in 1394, was a pre-colonial state in northwest Cameroon. It was ruled by King Nsangou and Queen Ngoungoure, known for their cultural and artistic achievements. In 1394, the territory expanded to include the region marked on the map.
Disestablishment
January 1901: Inglobated into German Kamerun. By the end of the XIX century the whole of Cameroon was conquered by Germany (however, the egular indigenous revolts continued).
