Establishment
January 1090: Medieval Metzingen was first mentioned in a document in 1075 and half went to the Counts of Grüningen in 1089.

1. Events
January 1201: Grüningen passed through the Counts of Veringen to the Counts of Württemberg at the end of the 12th century, who established the line of the Counts of Grüningen-Landau there.
January 1301: Rudolf I of Germany acquires Grüningen-Landau.
January 1318: In 1317 Metzingen went to the Counts of Württemberg.
Disestablishment
January 1379: Based on Gustav Droysen's Map of the Holy Roman Empire in the XIV century.
