Took place during the late 12th century, when Anglo-Normans gradually conquered and acquired large swathes of land in Ireland.
January 1172: The Irish troops were far inferior to the powerful armored Anglo- and Cambronorman knights and the Welsh archers accompanying them in open battle, which is why the conquerors were also able to occupy Munster.
January 551: Osraighe (Ossory) kingdom founded.
January 1001: The Corcu Duibne kingdom is absorbed by Mumu after the first millennium.
January 1093: Connacht is occupied by Mumu (Munster).
November 1095: Mumu left Connacht in October 1095.
January 1119: Desmumu split from Mumu.
January 1119: After internal divisions, Munster was partitioned by High King Toirdelbach Ó Conchobhair with the Treaty of Glanmire in 1118.
January 1139: In 1138, Desmumu was re-incorporated into the territory of Mumu.
January 1139: In 1138, the Thomond was re-incorporated into Mumu.
January 1142: Mumu was ccupied by Laighin (Leinster) until 1141.
January 1143: End of the occupation of Dublin by Mumu (Munster).
January 1153: Desmumu becomes independent from Mumu.
