Was a principality located in the northern part of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
Establishment
January 1351: Nagar, founded by Shri Badat in 1350, was ruled by the Trakhan Dynasty. The British gained control after defeating the rulers Mir of Hunza and Mir of Nagar in the Hunza-Nagar Campaign led by Colonel Durand.

Was a British military expedition against the princely states of Hunza and Nagar in the Gilgit Agency.
January 1892: At the end of the 19th century the troops of the British Empire tried to consolidate their control over the tribal areas of the north-east of the Raj, encountering some resistance especially in the principalities of Hunza and Nagar. In 1891, Colonel Algernon George Arnold Durand was therefore sent to Nagar and Hunza which, following the battle of Nilt Nagar, were occupied.
January 1585: In 1584, Abdullah Khan, the ruler of the Khanate of Bukhara, seized control of Badakhshan, a region located in present-day Afghanistan and Tajikistan. This marked a significant expansion of the Khanate's territory in Central Asia.
January 1821: Expansion of the Qing Dynasty by 1820 after the so-called "Ten Great Campaigns".
January 1824: The Emirate of Afghanistan emerged from the Durrani Empire, when Dost Mohammed Khan, the founder of the Barakzai dynasty in Kabul, became Emir in 1826.
