1. Events
January 1201: Around 1200, the Counts of Hohenberg appeared as local lords and built a new castle on the Schlossberg, around which the lower town developed as a market town. […] When these counts died out (after 1162), the counts of Hohenberg took over Haigerloch.
January 1238: In 1237, Emperor Friedrich II raised Rottenmünster to the status of an imperial monastery and entrusted the protection of the monastery to the imperial city of Rottweil.
January 1307: Hohenberg County acquired Horb.
January 1364: Nagold is sold to Württemberg.
Disestablishment
January 1382: Hohenberg County is sold to Austria.
