The Kingdom of Kangleipak was established by King Loiyumba in 1110 who ruled between 1074 and 1121. He consolidated the kingdom by incorporating most of the principalities in the surrounding hills and is credited with having enacted a kind of written constitution for his state.

1. Events
January 1301: By the 13th century, the Dimasa kingdom extended along the southern banks of Brahmaputra River, from Dikhow river to Kallang River and included the valley of Dhansiri and present-day Dima Hasao district.
January 1401: The Twipra Kingdom is established by Maha Manikya. It encompassed the Barak valley (Cachar Plains) of present day Assam state of India, the Mizoram state of India, and the Tripura state of India.
Disestablishment
January 1598: In 1597, the vassals of Mainpur had broken away from the Kingdom of Manipur, either legally or in practice. This event marked a significant shift in the political landscape of the region during that time.
