  • January 1238: Rietberg County was formed when Conrad I of Cuijk Arnsberg acquired Rietberg from Lippe.

  • January 1301: In the 13th century, the noble lords of Lippe ruled in Enger, who were given their power by Henry the Lion and from that point on worked as bailiffs.

  • January 1366: The Lippe Lordship acquired Schwalenberg.

  • January 1406: The Lordship of Lippe ecquired Sternberg.

  • January 1409: In 1408 Enger fell to the County of Ravensberg.
