January 1124: Lippe Lordship is mentioned for the first time in 1123.

1. Events

January 1238: Rietberg County was formed when Conrad I of Cuijk Arnsberg acquired Rietberg from Lippe.

January 1301: In the 13th century, the noble lords of Lippe ruled in Enger, who were given their power by Henry the Lion and from that point on worked as bailiffs.

January 1366: The Lippe Lordship acquired Schwalenberg.

January 1406: The Lordship of Lippe ecquired Sternberg.

January 1409: In 1408 Enger fell to the County of Ravensberg.
