Was a confederation founded by the Nogais that occupied the Pontic-Caspian steppe from about 1500 until they were pushed west by the Kalmyks and south by the Russians in the 17th century.
Establishment
January 1451: By the 1440s, a descendant of Edigu by the name of Musa bin Waqqas was ruling at Saray-Jük as an independent khan of the Nogai Horde.

January 1523: The Nogai Horde conquered the territory of the Torgay River.
January 1467: After 1466, Mahmud bin Küchük's descendants continued to rule in Astrakhan as the khans of the Astrakhan Khanate.
January 1510: Nogays move into lands vacated by Great Horde.
January 1512: The Khivan Khanate was established in 1511.
January 1521: Kazakh Khan Kasym successfully captured the Nogai capital Saray-Juk in 1520.

January 1558: After Kazan fell to Ivan the Terrible in 1554-1555, representatives of western and northwestern Bashkir tribes approached the Tsar with a request to voluntarily join Muscovy.
January 1569: Haqnazar Khan (Khazakh Khanate) reconquered Saraishyk from the Nogai Horde.
January 1569: Haqnazar Khan annexed the northern regions of Sary-Arka to the Kazakh Khanate.
January 1569: In the fight against the Khivans, the Kazakhs conquered the Mangyshlak peninsula.
January 1595: Thousands of Nogay Tatars raid southern Muscovite lands.
February 1595: End of Nogay raid in Russia.
January 1618: In 1617, the Nogai Horde, led by Khan Temir, and Azov Tatars, led by their chieftain Islyam, launched three raids on southern Russia. These raids were aimed at plundering villages and capturing prisoners.
February 1618: End of Nogai raid in southern Russia.
