Was a kingdom that controlled the areas today known as Tirhoot or Mithila in Nepal and Bihar of India.
Establishment
January 1098: The Simroun, Karnat or Dev dynasty originated with an establishment of a kingdom in 1097 CE headquartered at present day Simroungarh in Bara district. The kingdom controlled the areas today known as Tirhoot or Mithila in Nepal and Bihar of India.
January 1098: The Karnatas of Mithila controlled the areas we today know as Tirhut or Mithila in Bihar state of India and Nepal.

1. Events
January 1201: Expansion of the Khasa Kingdom by 1200 AD.
January 1221: Iltutmish of Delhi conquered Multan and Bengal from contesting Muslim rulers, as well as Ranthambore and Siwalik from Hindu rulers.
Disestablishment
January 1325: In 1324 CE, Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq attacked the fort of Simroungarh and demolished it.
