January 1201: The noble de Sacco family, residing in the castle of Mesocco and later vassals of the Duchy of Milan, had lordship over the Mesolcina valley since the 12th century.
January 1391: In 1390 the ancestral dominion of Belmont passed to her daughter from her first marriage Elisabeth and her husband Kaspar von Sax-Misox.
March 1424: Hans von Sax-Misox swears loyalty to the Grey League.
