Was an Italian colony that covered modern-day Libya (although the borders varied over time). It was created in 1934 by merging all the Italian possessions in the area (Tripolitania, Cyrenaica and the territories in the interior of Libya that were subject to Italian military administration). The colony was lost to the allies during World War II and occupied by France and Great Britain.
