A historic Celtic polity in Brittany. In 578 the polities of Brittany were made vassals of the Frankish Kingdom. As such, it was a vassal of a series of different Teilreiche (polities emerging from the hereditary divisions of the Frankish Kingdom that repeatedly divided and reunited).

  • January 501: Domnonia was an historic kingdom in northern Armorica founded by British immigrants from Dumnonia. Riwal founded the kingdom of the Armorican Domnonea around the year 500.
