Was a German protectorate from 1900 consisting of the islands of Upolu, Savai'i, Apolima and Manono. The protectorate emerged during the Samoan Civil War where the Paramountcy of Samoa was divided between Germany and the United States. It ended during World War I, when it was occupied by forces of the Entente.
