Country in Southeastern Europe. It is situated in the Balkans, and is located on the Adriatic and Ionian Seas within the Mediterranean Sea and shares land borders with Montenegro to the northwest, Kosovo to the northeast, North Macedonia to the east, and Greece to the south.

Establishment

January 1925: The Constitution of Albania established a parliamentary republic with a powerful president who served as head of state and government.
