Was a medieval signoria located in Emilia-Romagna. It was ruled by the family of Malatesta.

January 1296: Malatesta da Verrucchio is elected Signore of Rimini. His dynasty will rule on Rimin and part of Romagna until 1500.

January 1372: From 1371 the Malatesta also controlled Sansepolcro.
January 1379: Pope Urban VI assigned the city of Cesena to the lord of Rimini, Galeotto I Malatesta.
January 1401: Expansion of the Signoria of Rimini by 1400.
January 1405: Between 1404 and 1421, the city of Brescia was under the rule of Pandolfo III Malatesta, a prominent Italian condottiero and lord of Rimini. Malatesta was known for his military prowess and political influence in the region during the Renaissance period.
January 1408: The city of Bergamo was conquered by Pandolfo III Malatesta in 1407.
January 1420: A Ghibelline revolt brought Bergamo back under the influence of Milan.
January 1422: Brescia is acquired by the Duchy of Milan.
January 1431: Sansepolcro reverts to the Papal States.
January 1445: Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, Lord of Rimini, conquers Senigallia.
January 1446: Pesaro falls under the domain of the Milanese Sforza Dynasty.
January 1463: However, the reconstruction was so expensive that Malatesta was forced to contract debts with Pope Pius II, who for this reason deprived him of possession of the city to pass it on to Antonio Piccolomini.
January 1464: The Papal States submit Fano.
January 1466: Cesena returned to papal rule.
January 1470: Bertinoro falls under the control of the Ordelaffi Dynasty.

January 1501: The Papal States conquer Rimini.
