  • January 1383: The change took place in connection with the events of 1382, when the Tver principality gained independence from the Grand Duchy of Vladimir, which merged with the Moscow principality, and the Tver princes received the right to independent relations with the Horde.

    1. Russo-Kazan Wars


    Was a series of wars fought between the Grand Duchy of Moscow and the Khanate of Kazan from 1439, until Kazan was finally conquered by the Tsardom of Russia under Ivan the Terrible in 1552.

  • January 1427: In the 1426 year after the death of the Grand Duke of Tver Yuri Alexandrovich, the Zubtsovsky Principality became an independent principality.

  • January 1436: In 1435, the Gorodenskoe Principality was annexed by the Grand Duchy of Tverskoe.

  • January 1461: After Ivan Yuryevich died - about 1460  - childless, Zubtsov returned to the Tver Grand Duchy.
