The islands of Saint Pierre an Miquelon have been subject to periods of British possessions. France ceded them a first time to the British by the Treaty of Utrecht which ended the War of the Spanish Succession in 1713.

    1. Seven Years´ War

    Was a treaty signed on 10 February 1763 by the kingdoms of Great Britain, France and Spain, with Portugal in agreement, after Great Britain and Prussia's victory over France and Spain during the Seven Years' War.
