  • January 437: While Aetius celebrated his second consulate in Rome, he then sent one of his non-commissioned officers, Litorio, to Armorica against the rebel local autonomist groups, labeled by the Romans as Bagaudi (brigands) and led by Tibattone. In the year 437, Litorio managed to suppress the Bagauda revolt.
