Was an offensive launched by the Iraqi Army against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, during the War in Iraq (2013-2017).

October 2017: The Iraqi army conquers the areas surrounding the city of Hawija.
September 2017: On 24 September, the Iraqi forces had liberated all of the areas north of the Al-Zab River, along with some other areas west of the Tigris River and in the northern Makhoul Mountains.
September 2017: On 22 September, Iraqi forces liberated approximately 140 square kilometers of territory north of the district of Hawija from the Kirkuk Governorate.
October 2017: On 5 october the Iraqi forces took control of the city of Hawija.
October 2017: Hawija and surrounding regions conquered by government forces.
September 2017: On 29 September Iraqi forces recaptured the town of al-Abbassi from the Islamic State.
