1. Wairau Affray
Was clash of arms between Māori and the British settlers in New Zealand.
2. Flagstaff War
11 March 1845 - 11 January 1846: took place in the far north of New Zealand, around the Bay of Islands, between March 1845 and January 1846. Hōne Heke challenged the authority of the British, beginning by cutting down the flagstaff on Flagstaff Hill at Kororāreka.
3. Hutt Valley Campaign
3 March - August 1846: an armed conflict in the lower North Island of New Zealand between indigenous Māori and British settlers and military forces.
4. Whanganui campaign
Hostilities in the North Island of New Zealand as indigenous Māori fought British settlers and military forces in 1847.
5. First Taranaki War
17 March 1860 - 18 March 1861: armed conflict over land ownership and sovereignty that took place between Māori and the New Zealand Government in the Taranaki district of New Zealand's North Island.
6. Second Taranaki War
April/May 1863 to November 1866: hostilities between Māori and the New Zealand Government in the Taranaki district of New Zealand.
7. Invasion of the Waikato
17 July 1863 - April 1864: biggest and most important campaign of the 19th century New Zealand Wars, fought in the North Island of New Zealand between the military forces of the colonial government and a federation of Māori tribes known as the "Kingitanga Movement".
8. Tauranga campaign
21 January 1864 to 21 June 1864: a six-month-long armed conflict in New Zealand's Bay of Plenty in early 1864, and part of the New Zealand Wars that were fought over issues of land ownership and sovereignty. .
9. East Cape War
13 April 1865 to 12 October 1866: series of conflicts fought in the North Island of New Zealand from April 1865 to October 1866 between colonial and Māori military forces.
10. Titokowaru´s War
June 1868 - March 1869: military conflict between the Ngāti Ruanui Māori tribe and the New Zealand Government.
11. Te Kooti´s War
July 1868-May 1872: conflicts between the Māori and the colonising European settlers. It was fought in the East Coast region and across the heavily forested central North Island and Bay of Plenty between New Zealand government military forces and followers of spiritual leader Te Kooti Arikirangi Te Turuki.
