Establishment
January 1413: Bushahr, also spelt as 'Bashahr' and 'Bussahir' or 'Bushair' was a princely state in India during the British Raj. It was located in the hilly western Himalaya promontory bordering Tibet in the northern part of colonial Punjab region.

Was the partition of British India in two independent entities: India (with a Hindu majority) and Pakistan (with a Muslim majority). This included the several princely states that were dependent on the British Colony.
January 1949: Bushahr State acceeded to the Indian Union.
January 1451: Since the 15th century, Kumharsain was a feudatory of Bushahr State.
January 1551: The Baise and Chaubisi Rajya (Nepali petty kingdom) existed since the early XVI Century.
January 1804: The erstwhile Bushahr state was occupied by a Gorkha king from central Nepal from 1803 to 1815.
February 1815: At the end of the Anglo-Nepalese War, the parties signed the Treaty of Sugauli, following which the Gurkhas were expelled from Kamru, the capital of Bushahr.
April 1815: The Treaty of Sugauli was signed between the British East India Company and the Kingdom of Nepal. The British annexed Pauri Garhwal and made Tehri Garhwal a princely state under their control in 1815.
January 1816: Kumharsain State was ranked 6th in Order of precedence in the Shimla Hill States and 11th amongst the Punjab Hill States.
January 1899: In 1898, Bushahr state was taken over by the British administration.

January 1949: Bushahr State acceeded to the Indian Union.
