Was one of the small political entities that existed in Norway around the 8th century.
Establishment
January 821: By the early 8th century, before the unification of Norway, several chiefdoms/kingdoms existed in Norway and Sweden. People lived relatively scattered on farms but institutions that bound villages and regions together existed. King Alfarinn from Álfheimar was a known ruler of the petty Kingdom.

January 873: The Battle of Hafrsfjorden (dated sometime in the late 8th century) is traditionally considered the event when Harald Hårfagre won over the petty kings and chieftains of Norway and thus unified the country.
