The signoria, and from 1510 county, of Desana was a small independent territorial entity in Piedmont, an enclave in the duchy of Savoy, governed by the Tizzoni family.

Establishment

January 1511: Establishment of the County of Desana with the imperial investiture of Lodovico II Tizzoni.

January 1694: The countess of Desana and marquise of Crescentino Irene of Tournon, widow of Curzio Francesco and guardian of his children, sold it to the duke of Savoy Vittorio Amedeo II.
