Was a precolonial kingdom in Zambia.
Establishment
January 1741: In 1740, migrants from the Lunda Kingdom, led by Chief Kazembe, settled in the Lake Moero and Lwapula Valley region. This territory later became part of the Kingdom of Kazembe.

1. Events
January 1857: The Yeke Kingdom was founded by chief Msidi (also spelled M'Siri, Mziri, Msiri) who had immigrated from Unyamwezi (central Tanzania).
Disestablishment
January 1900: After King Msiri's death the Kingdom of Kazembe was divided in 1894 between Britain - the eastern shores of the Luapula and Lake Mweru became part of North-Eastern Rhodesia, administered by the British South Africa Company (BSAC) - and King Leopold II of Belgium's misnamed Congo Free State (CFS) but the real control was achieved only in 1899.
