Establishment
January 1799 BC: Kussara was a Bronze Age kingdom in Anatolia ruled by Pithana and his son Anitta, the only two recorded kings of the polity.

Military campaigns of Hittite King Hattusili I.
January 1650 BC: Labarna founded the Hittite Kingdom ca. 1650 BC. He renamed himself Hattusili I (meaning "the man of Hattusa") and established his capital city at Hattusa.
January 1779 BC: Pithana of Kussara took control over Kanesh (Kaneš-Neša) and its important trade centre around 1780 BC.
