Was an ancient kingdom known from Ancient Egyptian trade records. It is commonly accepted that it was located on the Red Sea coast south to Egypt.
Establishment
January 2499 BC: The Land of Punt was an ancient kingdom and a trading partner of Ancient Egypt. Punt was probably located in Eritrea. The oldest known expedition to Pount dates back to King Sahure of the Fifth dynasty, around the 25th century BC.

1. Events
January 979 BC: Dʿmt was a kingdom located in Eritrea and northern Ethiopia (Tigray Region) that existed during the 10th to 5th centuries BC.
Disestablishment
January 921 BC: Hiram king of the Phoenicians in Tyre, was the son-in-law of the king of Judah and Israel Solomon (961-922 BC), and on behalf of his father-in-law, he made a journey to the Country of Punt, from where he brought riches to embellish the grandiose Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem.
