The Southern Transitional Council is a secessionist faction of the Yemeni Civil War.
Establishment
April 2016: By April 25, Pro-Hadi Government forces and UAE forces had fully recaptured Mukalla, along with the rest of the coastal regions of the Hadramaut Province.
April 2016: By 26 April, Mukalla and the rest of the surrounding towns and cities had been cleared of AQAP forces.

Initially a series of anti-government protests and revolts across the Arab world, it soon evolved into a series of wars. The wars caused by the revolts are sometimes referred to as the Arab Winter.
1.1.Yemeni Civil War (2015-present)
Is an ongoing civil war in Yemen between the government and the Houthis (an Islamist political and armed organization that emerged from Saada Governorate in North Yemen), as well as involving several local, in some case secessionist, forces.
January 2018: The STC seized control of Aden.
August 2019: The Southern Transitional Council took control of Aden and Zinjibar.
June 2020: The STC seized full control of Socotra.

Was a battle during the Yemeni Civil War (2014 - present).
1.1.2.2022 Southern Yemen offensive
Was a military offensive by the Southern Movement in the Abyan and Shabwah provinces, during the Yemeni Civil War (2014 - present).
August 2022: Government forces also reportedly withdrew from military sites in Nisab, Radhum, Habban and Mayfa'a districts.
August 2022: On 10 August, after three days heavy clashes, Southern forces took control of Shabwah's capital Ataq.
August 2022: On the same day after heavy clashes Southern forces captured base of 2nd Mountain Infantry Brigade in Azzan.
August 2022: On 15 August U.A.E. drone struck military position in Shabwah allowing southern forces to advance towards Marib and Hadramawt.
August 2022: On 21 August it was reported that government forces decided to hand control over Shuqra and the areas of Qarn al-Kalasi and Al-Arqub to separatist forces.
August 2022: On 22 August the Southern Forces took control of Shuqrah-Ahwar road, with the seperatists claiming to control 90% of the Abyan province.
August 2022: On 23 August, Southern forces launched an operation called "Arrows of the East" in the Abyan governorate, entering Shuqrah early the next day.
August 2022: The Southern forces (STC) captured Khobar al-Maraqisha area and finally Ahwar District.
August 2022: On 31 August, Southern forces entered Lawdar in Abyan without a fight.
September 2022: On 11 September, Southern forces entered Al-Wadea and Mudiyah districts in Abyan.
September 2022: On 13 September Southern forces reportedly arrived on the outskirts of Mahfad district.
September 2022: On 14 September Southern forces entered Wadi Omaran east of Mudiyah, clashing with Al-Qaeda.
