The Union for Peace in the Central African Republic is a faction in the Central African Republic Civil War.
Establishment
September 2014: UPC was formed on 17 September 2014 by Ali Darassa from ex-Séléka elements.

1.1.Third Central African Republic Civil War
Was a civil war that broke out in the Central African Republic initially between the Seleka-controlled Central African government and the Christian and Animist Anti-Balaka forces, loyal to the former preisdent François Bozizé. The civil war quickly developed into a conflict involving a multitude of different forces.
November 2016: FPRC captured Bakala after battle with UPC.
December 2016: UPC recaptured Bakala after battle with FPRC.
January 2017: FPRC again captured Bakala.
February 2017: Rebels from Union for Peace in the Central African Republic withdrew from Bambari.
March 2017: FPRC and Anti-balaka took control of Bakouma and Nzacko after expelling UPC fighters.
March 2018: UPC captured Rafai subprefecture.
March 2018: Anti-balaka recaptured Rafai.
August 2018: FACA took control of Dekoa.
April 2019: Ali Darassa, UPC leader, returned to Bambari following peace agreement.
November 2019: UPC entered Bambouti.
November 2020: UPC raided South Sudanese village killing local doctor. In response, self-defense forces from South Sudan attacked Bambouti kicking UPC out of the city.
November 2020: Rebels withdrew from Bouar and Bambari.
November 2020: South Sudan withdrew from Bambouti a few hours later.
December 2020: UPC captured Grimari.
December 2022: UPC rebels attacked the village of Liotto.
December 2022: UPC rebels leave Liotto.
December 2022: UPC rebels attacked Ngakobo occupying it.
December 2022: UPC rebels leave Ngakobo.
January 2023: Rebels occupied Linguiri village on Bamingui-M'brés axis
March 2023: Self-defense militia captured Bambouti after clashing with UPC rebels during which one rebel general was killed.
May 2023: UPC rebels captured Kadjema near Mboki.
October 2023: UPC seized Mbo village from the government forces.
October 2023: The government recaptured Mbo Village.
July 2024: Armed forces clashed with UPC rebels in Zangba. Before withdrawing UPC rebels looted the property of local residents.
July 2024: UPC rebels left Zangba.
1.1.1.Central African Counterattack with foreign support
A military campaign of the Central African Government with foreign support to reconquer the territories controlled by rebel forces.
March 2021: Government forces captured Ngakobo, Amada Gaza and Gamboula.
March 2021: Russian mercenaries took control of Alindao.
May 2021: Government forces captured Mobaye.
May 2021: Government forces recaptured Dimbi, Kembe, Poumbolo and Gambo.
October 2021: UPC rebels took control of Dimbi in Basse-Kotto.
December 2021: UPC rebels took control of Kouango.
December 2021: Government forces recaptured Kouango.
May 2022: FPRC and UPC rebels took control of Ouadda.
June 2022: Armed forces supported by Russians captured Dimbi after clashing with rebels.
July 2022: UPC took control of Kembé.
July 2022: Rebels withdrew from Kembé following arrival of MINUSCA forces.
November 2022: UPC rebels attacked Ngouaboudou village on Bria-Ippy axis driving out armed forces.
