January 1285: Poschiavo finally became a vassal of the bishop of Coira.
January 1407: Poschiavo was able to free itself by force from the Duchy of Milan in 1406.
September 1408: The Cumün (valley community, including Brusio), which now always appeared as a unit, sought protection from the bishop and joined the church association on September 29, 1408.
