Establishment
January 1124: The Wildbergers were first mentioned in a document in 1123 at their castle.

1. Events
January 1234: Schweinfurth is elevated to an Imperial City.
January 1306: Count Konrad von Wildberg, the last Wildberger, married Margarete von Henneberg. When Count Konrad died, Wiltdber was thus inherited by the Henneberg Dynasty.
Disestablishment
January 1369: In 1368 the Wiltberg family died out with Adelheid von Trimberg, daughter of Adelheid von Wildberg. Her husband, Count Hermann II von Henneberg-Aschach, sold her share of the inheritance to the Bishopric of Würzburg.
