Shaowu was the Emperor of the Ming Dynasty who ruled from 1644 to 1645. He governed over the southern part of China, known as the Southern Ming Dynasty. During his reign, the most significant war was the Qing conquest of the Ming, which started in 1644 and lasted until 1662. This war resulted in the downfall of the Ming Dynasty and the establishment of the Qing Dynasty. Another notable conflict during Shaowu's rule was the Revolt of the Three Feudatories, which occurred from 1673 to 1681, several years after his reign ended.
