Ștefan III the Great was a Prince who ruled over the Principality of Moldavia from 1457 to 1504. During his reign, he successfully defended his territory against numerous invasions and expanded Moldavia's borders. One of the most significant wars that occurred during his tenure was the Battle of Vaslui in 1475, where he defeated the Ottoman Empire and halted their expansion into Moldavia. Another notable conflict was the Battle of Valea Albă in 1476, where he once again triumphed over the Ottomans.
