Sun Yat-sen was the first President of the Republic of China, ruling from January to March 1912. During his brief tenure, he played a crucial role in the Xinhai Revolution, which led to the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty and the establishment of the Republic of China. Although no major wars occurred during his presidency, the Xinhai Revolution itself can be considered a significant conflict, as it involved numerous uprisings and military engagements across China from 1911 to 1912.
