Theodosius II was the Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire from 408 to 450. During his reign, he faced several significant wars and conflicts. One of the most important wars was the Sack of Rome in 410, which occurred within the early years of his rule. Another notable conflict was the Vandalic War, which took place from 429 to 439. This war saw the Vandals, led by King Genseric, invade and conquer North Africa, posing a major threat to the Eastern Roman Empire. Theodosius II also had to deal with the ongoing conflicts with the Sassanid Empire, including the Persian Wars of 421-422 and 441-442.
