Vsevolod I was the Grand Prince of Kievan Rus' during the years 1078-1093. His reign witnessed several significant wars, including the Kypchak-Cuman War (1078-1087) and the Siege of Kiev (1093). The Kypchak-Cuman War was a series of conflicts between the Kievan Rus' and the nomadic Kypchak-Cuman tribes, lasting from 1078 to 1087. The Siege of Kiev occurred in 1093 when the Cumans besieged the city of Kiev, which Vsevolod I was able to successfully defend.
