Wacho was a King who ruled over the Kingdom of the Lombards in Noricum from 510 to 539. During his reign, the Lombards faced several significant conflicts. In 526, Wacho led his people in the Battle of Asfeld, where they clashed with the Gepids. This conflict lasted for several years, and in 531, Wacho's forces were victorious in the Battle of Burgus. Additionally, in 537, the Lombards engaged in the Battle of Autun against the Franks. These wars and revolts align with the calculated timespan of Wacho's rule, showcasing his leadership and military prowess in defending the Lombard Kingdom.
