Wenceslas II, also known as Wenceslas the Lazy, was the Duke of Luxembourg from 1383 to 1386. During his reign, the Duchy of Luxembourg experienced significant political and military challenges. One of the most important wars that occurred during his tenure was the War of the Limburg Succession, which lasted from 1371 to 1388. This conflict arose due to a dispute over the inheritance of the Duchy of Limburg and involved various factions fighting for control. Another significant event was the Revolt of Ghent, which took place from 1379 to 1385. This uprising in the County of Flanders was a result of economic grievances and led to a prolonged conflict between the rebellious city of Ghent and its ruler.
