Ahmad III was the Sultan of the Hafsid Kingdom from 1550 to 1574. During his reign, the kingdom faced several significant conflicts. One of the most important wars was the Ottoman-Hafsid War, which lasted from 1551 to 1554. This conflict saw the Ottoman Empire, led by Suleiman the Magnificent, invade the Hafsid Kingdom and ultimately annex it as a province. Another notable conflict during Ahmad III's rule was the Revolt of the Almohads in 1568. This uprising, led by the Almohad dynasty, aimed to overthrow the Ottoman rule and restore the Hafsid Kingdom's independence. However, the revolt was ultimately suppressed by the Ottomans.
