Tudḫaliya IV was a king of the Hittite Empire who reigned from approximately -1243 to -1214. During his tenure, he faced significant military challenges, including the War of Wilusa (-1230--1220) and the War of Arzawa (-1220--1210). The War of Wilusa, also known as the Trojan War, was a conflict between the Hittites and the city of Wilusa (Troy) in -1230 to -1220. The War of Arzawa, which took place from -1220 to -1210, was a series of campaigns against the Arzawa Kingdom in western Anatolia.
