Béla II, also known as Béla the Blind, was the King of Hungary from 1131 to 1141. During his reign, the Kingdom of Hungary faced several significant conflicts. One of the most important wars was the Byzantine-Hungarian War, which occurred from 1137 to 1138. This conflict arose due to territorial disputes between Hungary and the Byzantine Empire. Another notable conflict was the Hungarian-Croatian War, which took place from 1132 to 1135. This war was a result of tensions between the Hungarian crown and the Croatian nobility. Despite his blindness, Béla II managed to navigate these conflicts and maintain his rule over Hungary for a decade.
